My name is Richard Mann and I am an integrative counsellor offering short term and long term therapy in North London. I also offer online counselling across the UK and abroad. 

I am passionate about the difference therapy can make to your life and my experience is in cancer, Alzheimer's and dementia, alcohol addiction, work-related stress.

How I can help you

I believe that therapy should be designed specially for your individual needs and provide a relaxed, safe space where you can feel free to share your issues confidentially and without judgement.

The most important part of therapy is the relationship between us and I like to work in a collaborative way, helping you learn more about yourself, your issues and developing strategies to manage them.

It can feel daunting sharing your problems, sometimes for the first time and it is important that you are in charge of the therapy and your recovery.

I offer short and long-term therapy and work integratively, which means I use more than one type of counselling. I can work creatively if you feel this would be appropriate and can use creative techniques and mindfulness to ease anxiety or simply understand why you feel a certain way.

Integrative Therapy

There are many different types of therapy available and as an integrative therapist I am able to use a wide range of therapies to suit your individual needs.

I am trained in Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic and Psychoanalysis. CBT, Gestalt and Transactional Analysis. I can also use creative techniques such as visualisation and narrative therapy.

I also use mindfulness, polyvagal and breathing and grounding techniques to help with anxiety, depression and dissociation.

I have also done training in cognitive stimulation therapy and cognitive rehabilitation and can help with

memory and attention issues.

Fees

Fees are capped at a rate of £55 per hour for an online session and £65 in person ( to cover room hire). Sessions are 50 minutes long.

 

Limited places are available at concessionary rates and for students.

An initial session will allow us to see if counselling will be helpful for you and if we are able to provide the right type of therapy for you.
